About this role
Applewood Village is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community at One Applewood Drive in Freehold, NJ, owned and operated by FellowshipLIFE. Our campus offers active adult living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation, home services and hospice, with amenities including an indoor heated pool, a performing arts center and a culinary institute. We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for full time, part time and overtime opportunities across all shifts.
What you will do:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility
- Help at mealtimes and support hydration and nutrition
- Take and record vital signs and document care activities
- Report changes in resident condition to the nurse
- Build warm, respectful relationships with residents and families
What we look for:
- Current New Jersey CNA certification
- Previous experience in senior living or a similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documenting care
Schedules and pay: full time and part time positions on day, evening and overnight shifts. Published pay is up to $24 per hour for CNAs. Benefits include medical coverage for full time and eligible part time positions, generous paid time off with an annual sell-back option for unused time, and an educational reimbursement program.
