Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes and/or medical facilities in the Oklahoma City, OK region, while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: ** Clinical Duties: • Check vital signs.• Review medical history.• Address chief complaints.• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.• Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests. Administrative Duties: • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.• Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required.• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.• Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred.• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.• CPR / AED preferred.• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred. Key Skills and Competencies: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.• Compassionate and professional demeanor.• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
