About this role
Carousel of Home Care is a nurse-owned, family run home health care agency established in 1995, with offices at 71 West Main Street in Freehold and 1340 Highway 36 in Hazlet. We are fully accredited with distinction by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care, Medicaid certified, and serve Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and northern Burlington Counties. We are hiring Certified Home Health Aides for per diem, part time and full time work, including live-in and companion cases.
What you will do:
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Prepare meals and provide companionship
- Support geriatric, pediatric and hospice clients under the guidance of our registered nurses
- Give medication reminders and keep the home safe
- Document care and report changes to the nursing supervisor
What we look for:
- New Jersey CHHA certification (CNAs and HHAs welcome; certification reimbursement is available for uncertified applicants who complete our classes)
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Compassion, dependability and a clean background check
- Bilingual caregivers welcome
Schedules and pay: create your own schedule near your home with per diem, part time and full time options. Pay is discussed at the interview. We will be hiring at the Monmouth County Fall Job Fair on September 16 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.
