About this role
Caring People is a licensed home care agency founded in 1997 that has served more than 25,000 clients across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida and Texas. Our Holmdel branch at 2137 Route 35, Suite 370, serves seniors throughout Monmouth County with 24 hour hands-on care, dementia and Alzheimer care, companion care, skilled nursing and care management. We are hiring Certified Home Health Aides for full time and part time schedules, including 12 hour day shifts.
What you will do:
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility
- Prepare meals, support light housekeeping and keep the home safe
- Provide companionship and engage clients living with dementia
- Give medication reminders and escort clients to appointments
- Report changes in condition to the nurse supervisor and document each visit
What we look for:
- Current New Jersey CHHA certification in good standing
- Experience with seniors or dementia care is a plus
- Reliable transportation to client homes in Monmouth County
- Dependable, compassionate and comfortable working independently
- Able to pass a background check
Schedules and pay: full time and part time schedules, including 12 hour day shifts. Published pay for 12 hour day shifts in Holmdel is $18 to $23 per hour; other rates are discussed at the interview. Caring People offers ongoing training and a path from CHHA into care coordination and supervisory roles.
We will be hiring at the Monmouth County Fall Job Fair on September 16 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.
