Overview


The WorkThe Senior Program Manager for U.S. Department of Treasury, including the Internal Revenue Service is the primary POC for Cayuse's responsibilities related to the contracts within Treasury/IRS. The Senior Program Manager acts as the onsite Client Relationship Manager and oversees Team Cayuse's leadership team as they perform the services and complete deliverables as committed. The Senior Program Manager will strive for and instill project delivery excellence, implement effective project management practices, work as a trusted advisor to Treasury leadership, and leverage their substantial IT team leadership experience across the Agency.The Senior Program Manager should have proven experience and be able to function well in three primary areas: Department of Treasury client relationship management; large program coordination and execution; and Information Technology and/or business process implementations, with strength in thought leadership.This position aligns with Cayuse's core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.


Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities+ Perform as the primary Team Cayuse POC for Treasury/IRS programs, overseeing Team Cayuse IT and teaming partner operations personnel+ Provide Treasury/IRS with a trusted advisor who focuses on understanding mission objectives, and helps to develop strategy, implementation plans, and approaches to deliver on that mission+ Growth of contracts (add scope, new contracts, or new task orders)+ Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify mission and technology needs to optimize the use of Cayuse services and market offerings+ Ensure smooth delivery and operation of Cayuse services by monitoring delivery performance+ Provide direction, guidance, and training to staff+ Work with the Team Cayuse PMO to analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that include providing support to the program+ Ensure appropriate levels of communication are established and maintained throughout the project lifecycle+ Supervisor of Team Cayuse to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvements and innovation and coaching staff, including providing timely, meaningful written and verbal feedback+ Collaborate and coordinate with Project Managers, SME's, Technical Architects, Solution Architect, Developers, and Operations teams to interpret client requirements and craft solutions that satisfy those requirements+ Proposal development and leadership for opportunities+ Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


**Qualifications

- Here's What You Need**+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field+ 10+ years in a federal government information technology environment functioning in a program/project management, business operations, SME, or project control role. Preference for Treasury/IRS experience+ 12+ years of experience working in IT related endeavors, including systems integration projects, application support and operations programs, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects+ Preferred experience in an SBA Tribal 8(a) business, HUBZone, and other social-economic contract environments+ Active Public Trust clearance+ Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.


Technical Knowledge+ Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems+ Strong knowledge of project management principles+ Solid understanding of Project Management functions in an IT or Business Process setting+ Solid knowledge of Agile Software Development and related methods, tools, and techniques+ Solid understanding of government contract types, certification requirements, and related contract terms and conditions+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and OneNote, etc.+ Working knowledge of Federal Contracting is highly desired

Working Conditions+ Professional Hybrid work environment.+ Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.+ Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.+ Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.+ This role demands a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to operate effectively in dynamic live, virtual, and pre-recorded production environments.+ Ability to excel under pressure, work effectively in team settings, and ensure high standards of visual and technical quality across events.+ May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.+ May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.+ May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
