About this role
Griswold Home Care for Monmouth County is a non-medical home care agency at 75 West Front Street in Red Bank, NJ, serving Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Our office has been led by the same director since 1993 and we care about our caregivers as much as our clients. We are hiring Certified Home Health Aides and CNAs for hourly shifts throughout the area.
What you will do:
- Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility support
- Companionship: conversation, activities, errands and outings
- Homemaking: light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and shopping
- Support for clients living with chronic conditions, illness or injury
- Communicate with the care manager about client needs
What we look for:
- Current New Jersey CHHA certification (CNAs welcome)
- At least one year of experience caring for seniors in acute, long term care or community settings is preferred
- One professional reference from an immediate past employer or a CHHA training instructor
- Cleared fitness to work with a two step PPD test or chest x-ray
- Reliable transportation and a clean background check
Schedules and pay: choose the schedule that works for you, with day, evening, weekend and live-in options. Published hourly pay is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour; live-in CHHA positions start at $215 per day. The Jean Griswold Foundation offers educational scholarships so caregivers can advance their training and careers.
We will be hiring at the Monmouth County Fall Job Fair on September 16 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.
