Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.Position Summary: The Building Automation System (BAS) Program Manager will be responsible for operations and maintenance of the BAS for all integrated buildings at City of Hope Duarte campus, including the Hospital, Outpatient, GMP, and research buildings. The Program Manager will demonstrate advanced knowledge of BAS system operations and maintenance and have significant prior experience. Program Manager shall have advanced awareness of the technical needs of controls system programming, integrations to other systems, and very sophisticated HVAC strategies that can be employed on existing facility systems. Building Automation System (BAS) Program Manager shall demonstrate and apply highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills the ability to manage complex programs in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tasking’s under high pressure situations.As a successful candidate, you will:• Assure performance and operations of the Duarte campus BAS systems, service objectives, and standards are always met.• Oversee operations and maintenance of facilities BAS systems throughout the organization including the Duarte and Monrovia and all community clinics including equipment such as roof top units, air handlers, CAV/VAV boxes, heat pumps, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and heat exchangers.• Assist as necessary with the installation and repair of complex HVAC control, wiring, communications, and other systems integrated to the BAS while working from a technical blueprint.• Advanced troubleshooting and testing experience and knowledge of TJC, OSHPD, state and local building codes.• Provide training and guidance to the Engineering & Maintenance teams in preventive maintenance, operations, engineering systems improvements, equipment replacement and utilities usage.• Develop, implement, and periodically review operating procedures for electrical, mechanical systems and operating instructions. Troubleshoot complex HVAC systems using appropriate testing devices.• Provide oversight for lifecycle improvement maintenance and corrective action tasks and Implement remediation measures for operational improvements and energy saving measures.• Develop, implement, and periodically review operating procedures for electrical, mechanical systems and operating instructions. Troubleshoot complex HVAC systems using appropriate testing devices.• Provide oversight for lifecycle improvement maintenance and corrective action tasks for Data Driven Services and Implement remediation measures for operational improvements and energy saving measures.• Develop, implement, establish, and enforce procedures and programs to increase BAS efficiency and cost effectivenessYour qualifications should include: • Bachelor’s degree• 8 years of BAS experience• Experience with Siemens BAS products including Apogee and Desigo Graphical Interfaces• Healthcare experience including energy saving projects Additional Information:Job Status: Full time, exempt Salary range $96,886 - $155,000City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria:  work experience, qualifications, and work location.City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
