This is a highly visual, product-forward role focused on crafting compelling demos that bring Figma’s capabilities to life. You’ll design demo experiences, flows, and product vignettes that show—not just tell—what’s possible in Figma, whether that’s for executive presentations, keynotes, or product launch films.This role sits at the intersection of product design, storytelling, and brand. You’ll need expert design instincts, deep curiosity about our products, and a knack for finding the most interesting use-cases and “aha” moments worth sharing with our audience. You’re someone who loves to tinker and experiment—constantly exploring new creative tools, techniques, and workflows, especially emerging AI-powered tools, and thinking about how they can expand what demos look like and how quickly they can be produced. You understand the product development process, and are comfortable storytelling in a video demo format—working across design and code. You’ll play a central role in shaping how we demonstrate the capabilities of the Figma platform through polished, believable, and aspirational demos.This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What you’ll do at Figma:• Design and build high-quality demo flows and product vignettes that showcase Figma’s product capabilities in clear, compelling ways• Explore our products deeply to uncover interesting use cases, workflows, and moments that resonate with existing and new audiences• Craft demos for a range of formats, including executive presentations, keynotes, launch moments, and brand films• Perform and capture demos with a strong sense of storytelling (e.g.: knowing when to zoom in, cut away, and pace a narrative for clarity and impact)• Raise the visual quality and believability of demo assets so they feel both aspirational and grounded in real use-cases• Share learnings, experiments, and techniques with the Brand Studio and partners to help raise the bar across the org• Collaborate closely with brand and product designers, marketers, and leadership to align demos with broader product and brand narrativesWe'd love to hear from you if you have:• A portfolio that demonstrates strong product visual design craft, interactive flows, and/or demo environments, and a nuanced understanding of trends• An understanding of the full product development process—planning, design, prototyping, design systems, and design implementation in code• Deep, hands-on expertise with the Figma platform and experience leveraging Figma products from idea to development• Actively explore emerging design and AI-powered tools, forming clear opinions on how and when to use them• Operate as both a maker and an educator, experimenting deeply and bringing others along through teaching, documentation, and exampleWhile not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:• Experience with capturing and editing screen recording demosAt Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. Pay Transparency Disclosure If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.Figma offers equity to employees, as well a competitive package of additional benefits, including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave & reproductive or family planning support, mental health & wellness benefits, generous PTO, company recharge days, a learning & development stipend, a work from home stipend, and cell phone reimbursement. Figma also offers sales incentive pay for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles.
