About this role
Sr. Analyst , Distribution SystemsAs the Sr. Analyst, Distribution Systems, you are the technical and subject matter expert supporting Manhattan, Exacta, and Red Prairie Warehouse Management Systems. This role will utilize previous distribution industry and system standards to maintain the current systems, liaise with IT teams, support Distribution operations and/or other Supply Chain initiatives. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will support the Distribution network by triaging our end user's system issues, implementing solutions through system configuration, performing data analysis, and recommend new capabilities/modes/flows/strategies.This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What you'll do• Supports Distribution Systems Support team efforts by performing system administration, triaging of issues, issue resolution, and functions as a liaison between the business operations teams and the technical systems support team.
• Work with the Supply Chain teams to support operational efforts to leverage WMS to drive benefits and enable enterprise efficiency and effectiveness.
• Follows appropriate escalation processes to quickly and effectively resolve critical business dependent system outages.
• Uses knowledge and insights to improve operational processes and practices. Identifies potential issues and implications to the business; creates new solutions.
• Leverage data to make recommendations and improve business practices.
• Configure and maintain engineered labor standards in the Labor Management SystemsBasic qualifications• 3 years' experience in Supply Chain
• 2 years of systems and database experience and/or systems support
• Strong communication skills
• Performed data analysis/modeling using various tools such as Excel, Access, SQL Developer, TableauPreferred qualifications• Experience with a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS)What's in it for youWe're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
