Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist), In-Home and Center-Based

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions is a nonprofit founded in 2004 that provides home and community-based services to people with disabilities across six states. In New Jersey, Kaleidoscope ABA Therapy Services runs autism treatment centers, including Toms River, and provides in-home ABA therapy for families throughout Monmouth County. We are hiring Behavior Technicians and will be meeting candidates at the Monmouth County Fall Job Fair on Sept 16 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

What you will do:

- Provide direct one-to-one ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, in the family home or at the center

- Run skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

- Collect and record data on each session and communicate progress to the BCBA and family

- Use play-based teaching and positive reinforcement to build communication, social and daily living skills

- Work independently in the home and as part of a clinical team

What we look for:

- High school diploma or GED at minimum

- 6 months to 1 year of experience with children; ABA experience preferred, not required

- Reliable transportation to reach client homes across Monmouth County

- Patience, energy and consistency with children

- Background check and fingerprinting as required for working with children

Schedules and pay: full-time and part-time caseloads, with in-home sessions typically after school and early evening and center hours 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Published Behavior Technician pay in New Jersey is $20 per hour, based on education and experience.
