Farmington Hills, Michigan, United StatesApplyThe Azure Cloud and Azure Network Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, engineering, and support of the organization’s critical Azure cloud infrastructure, with a key focus on Azure network, Azure WAF, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementation, Entra ID, and Azure Windows Administration. This role is crucial for maintaining a reliable, secure, and high-performance cloud IT environment.Responsibilities:The below reflects the essential functions considered necessary for this role and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements inherent in the job or assigned by supervisory personnel. This job description is used as a guide only and not inclusive of all responsibilities and job duties.Cloud Infrastructure and VDI (Azure, AVD, Windows Admin)• Maintain Azure networking infrastructure, Azure WAF, and Azure functions.• Partner with development engineering team on DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.• Manage containers, azure functions from an administration support, security, vulnerability, and spend optimization.• Harden Azure images to improve security posture.• Design, implement, configure, and manage AVD environments, including host pools, application groups, workspace configuration, and image management (golden image creation and maintenance).• Monitor and optimize AVD and all other Azure resource performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.• Manage, deploy, and maintain Windows Server virtual machines and support infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.• Administer Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), including users, groups, conditional access, and synchronization with on-premises directories.• Implement and manage Azure storage solutions, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based resources.• Leverage Azure defender for cloud to identify and fix vulnerabilities.• Implement conditional access policies on Azure.• Manage and optimize Azure spend by identifying unused cloud assets. Optimize cloud CMDB.Automated vulnerability management and patching with Microsoft Intune• Create, deploy, and enforce security, compliance, and configuration policies with Intune, GPO and AutoMox across Azure and other cloud managed and laptop devices.• Resolve vulnerabilities with automated patching. General Administration and Support• Provide technical expertise and support for all managed systems.• Participate in IT projects, collaborating with other teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all systems and procedures. Compliance with Centria’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws. Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT administration with a focus on cloud and network technologies.• Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)• Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)• Ability to follow written instructions• Ability to use computers and computer/software programs• Ability to communicate expressively and receptively• Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud administration.• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or other VDI solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon).• Proven hands-on experience managing Windows Server and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.• Solid administrative experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies).• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (NSGs, WAF, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN) and Azure networking (VNets, NSGs).• Experience with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and multi-factor authentication.• Relevant certifications preferred, such as:• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)• Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)• Cisco Meraki Network Operator (CMNO) or similar Meraki certifications, preferred.• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI), preferred.• Experience in a hybrid or multi-site network environment, preferred.Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 plus bonusWorking Conditions:• Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.• Additional time or occasional shift in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.Physical Requirements:**While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically.
