ASRC Agile Decision Sciences LLC is currently seeking a qualified candidate with an active Secret clearance to support our U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) under the SEC SETA Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.ASRC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer role in support of the PEO Enterprise ServiceNow Platform Team.

The Enterprise ServiceNow Platform Team is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the Army’s enterprise-wide ServiceNow instance, which delivers IT service management, workflow automation, and digital transformation capabilities across the Army. This position provides senior-level software engineering expertise to develop and sustain scalable ServiceNow applications and integrations that meet mission-critical Army requirements.

Responsibilities:Lead the development of ServiceNow custom applications, scripts, workflows, Service Portal widgets, and automation tools to support enterprise IT service delivery.

Configure and extend ServiceNow modules (including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and App Engine Studio).

Provide architectural guidance and ensure solutions are designed for speed, scalability, and compliance with DoD security standards.

Support integration of ServiceNow with Army and DoD systems through APIs, web services, and data exchange.

Collaborate with business analysts, SMEs, and platform users to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Support agile ceremonies and manage delivery across sprints.

Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging of applications and integrations.

Ensure platform upgrades, patches, and new releases are deployed with minimal disruption.

Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical lead for ServiceNow-related projects.Required Qualifications/Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline.

At least 8 years of software engineering experience within the last 10 years.

Minimum of 3 years developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS, Web Services, and related technologies.

Demonstrated experience building and configuring ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.

Strong knowledge of database concepts and DoD database/code security standards.

Experience with unit and integration testing of ServiceNow applications.

Certification Requirement: Candidates must hold CompTIA Security+, A+, or Network+ (or equivalent DoD-approved IAT certification) to satisfy Information Assurance Technical (IAT) requirements for privileged access within the ServiceNow environment.

Active DOD Secret clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.Preferred Skills/Certifications:ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certification.

Experience with ServiceNow App Engine Studio.

Familiarity with Army IT environment and integration requirements.

Experience with agile development in a large-scale enterprise environment.
