About this role

DescriptionThe Product Engineer at Armstrong International plays a critical role in the development, enhancement, and support of our product portfolio. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and maintain the high-quality standards Armstrong is known for.Key Responsibilities•Find Design, develop, and enhance products to meet customer and market requirements.

•Collaborate with the engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

•Conduct testing and validation of products to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

•Provide technical support to the sales team, customers, and field service representatives.

•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs and processes.

•Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

•Willingness to learn or train in the position.

•Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment.

•Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above.Key Requirements•Proficiency in SolidWorks.

•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
