As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will be the vital link between patients and providers, supporting both administrative and clinical functions. Your duties will include greeting and rooming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing vital signs. You will also perform blood draws, administer vaccines, and provide other clinical support as needed to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the medical team is essential in delivering excellent patient care and fostering a positive environment. You will contribute to health education outreach efforts, supporting our mission to promote healthier lifestyles and reduce health risks.Required Skills:Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externshipMedical Assistant Certification strongly preferredExperience in occupational health is highly desirableProficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records (EMR) systemsExcellent attention to detail and strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team membersCompetent computer skills, with the ability to adapt to various health IT systemsAbility to thrive in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and compassionNice to Have Skills:Experience in occupational health settingsPrior knowledge of vaccine administration and clinical proceduresFamiliarity with healthcare outreach and health promotion initiativesPreferred Education and Experience:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential preferredAt least one year of clinical experience working in fast-paced healthcare environmentsStrong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care protocolsOther Requirements:Ability to work a flexible schedule, including upcoming shifts on June 8th and 9thFingerprint clearance required; scheduling assistance providedMust adhere to security protocols, including BG checks as per organization policiesEmployment may require vaccine administration, physical activity, and patient interaction throughout shiftsThis position does not participate in HomeMed servicesAdditional site-specific requirements as detailed in onboarding documentationElevate your career as a Medical Assistant where your clinical skills and dedication truly make a difference.
