About this role

Job Title: Steel Erector Technician/Ironworker ($$$$25-30+/hr -- APPLY NOW!!!!)Job DescriptionThe primary role of the Steel Erector Technician is to install steel beams, steel girders, and columns to create frames for sheet metal roofing structures. The technician will also be responsible for ground work, steel framing installation, and preparation for roofing.Responsibilities+ Install steel beams, girders, and columns to create structural frames.+ Perform ground work and steel framing installation.+ Prepare sites for roofing installation.Essential Skills+ 2+ years of experience with pre-engineered metal buildings.+ 2+ years of sheet metal installation and steel erection.+ Knowledge of sheet metal, steel erection, metal trim, structural steel, and pre-engineered steel buildings.+ Experience with boom lift, scissor lift, steel girders, steel columns, welding, and sheet metal assembly.+ OSHA 10 certification.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Boom lift, scissor lift, and construction fork lift certifications are a plus but not required.Why Work Here?Experience a laid-back, hands-off company culture where field labor typically goes directly to the site each day, avoiding office visits.
