About this role
Job Title: Production Admin & AnalystJob DescriptionThis role involves supporting staff, hiring processes, and feedback mechanisms, as well as reporting weekly hours. The position also encompasses data analytics and administrative tasks for the production team.Responsibilities+ Record and enter daily production data into Excel spreadsheets and SAP accurately and in a timely manner.+ Maintain organized records of production reports, downtime logs, and inventory updates.+ Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.+ Assist with tracking raw material usage, finished goods, and yield variances.+ Support supervisors and plant managers by providing real-time data and summaries.+ Reconcile data discrepancies by collaborating with production floor staff and supervisors.+ Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with company procedures and food safety standards.+ Maintain filing systems, both digital and hard copy, for production documents and reports.+ Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, and managing email correspondence.Essential Skills+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data entry, pivot tables, and charts.+ Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is required.+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.+ Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with data analytics using Power BI.+ Familiarity with administrative support, calendar management, and scheduling.+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.Work EnvironmentStandard business hours from Monday to Friday. The office is located indoors with air conditioning, situated within or near the production floor. Occasional presence on the production floor may be required, with appropriate personal protective equipment provided. Standard work hours with potential for overtime based on production needs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gretna, LA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
