You will be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first-time parents to create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.The ideal candidate will be both independent and a team player having strong communication skills and an awareness and sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Responsibilities:• Provide administrative and receptionist support; coordinating groups and events faxing, photocopying, mail, scanning, filing, phone• Maintain active participant paper files, open new cases and discharge closed files• Maintain an accurate and updated client database and electronic medical records.• Managing referrals(calls and emails) and contacting referral sources and referred familiesQualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated administrative and reception experience• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.• Familiarity with electronic medical records, computer literacy• Physical and Mental Demands: Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting to carry out job responsibilities.• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work and for providing services in the community.• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish may be eligible for a 6% salary increaseSchedule: 32 hours flexible, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pmHourly Rate$19.25 - $19.25 USDAt Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
