In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business through effective lead generation, leveraging both existing and new customers for Inertial Guidance Test Systems (IGTS), Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL), vibration test systems (shakers) and after-market services for Acutronic Simulation & Test USA. Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in capital equipment sales.Sales EngineerYour Roles/Responsibilities:• Lead, Train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed annual bookings targets

• Interact with existing customers to increase services, turnkey solutions, and product sales. Review customer requirements and recommend products that satisfy specific requirements.

• Work with the Operations and Engineering Team to develop technical proposals, technical specifications, and price quotations in order to achieve bookings objectives

• Travel domestically and internationally to customer facilities to uncover customer needs

• Attend tradeshows and conferences to promote services, turnkey solutions, and products to generate and qualify leads in order to expand the sales pipeline

• Identify new customer requirements and/or applications that require Acutronic services, solutions and products.

• Set sales targets, monitor progress, and analyze, report, and forecast sales results

• Identify staffing requirements and advise management as necessary

• Responsible for developing and managing a budget including travel and marketing

• Develop and improve existing processes which enable the sales team to operate efficiently and drive results

• Interface with new customers to conduct sales discussions for existing products, services and solutions requirements and opportunities to achieve sales objectives

• Interacts regularly with customers via email, phone calls and visits

• Engage in technical discussions with customers and provide written documentation of the discussions and requirements, as applicable

• Develop sales strategy for all new significant opportunities briefing management, including Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service on requirements including pricing strategies and competitive information

• Evaluating and driving staff performance

• Develop pricing recommendations

• Solicit periodic input from various customers to assist our development team with evolving new product requirements

• Support various sales/marketing programs, as applicable (mailings, flyers, etc.) and give input to materials such as advertising, event support, presentations (incl. images/videos), customer profiles and contract administrationYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred

• A minimum of five years in capital equipment sales required, ten years in capital equipment sales preferred

• Experience in the field of servo systems and/or motion control is a plus

• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry is strongly preferred
