Job Title: Sr Software Test EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Sr Test Engineer with a experience in the design, development, analysis, documentation, and support of testing complex products, systems, or subsystems. This role requires the ability to develop processes that effectively test products to ensure they meet all applicable requirements and specifications. The successful candidate will collaborate with various engineering disciplines and utilize their expertise to verify systems and subsystems across multiple technology areas.Responsibilities+ Design and implement test strategies for ruggedized ground-vehicle electronics and integrated subsystems.+ Conduct verification and validation of rugged vehicle electronics and power/IO subsystems, including LRUs, power management, and control electronics.+ Test sensor suites for ground platforms, including IR sensors, targeting payloads, and processing hardware.+ Integrate and test turret and weapon system electronics, focusing on fire control and stabilized turret integration points.+ Perform system-level integration between sensors, fire control, mission computers, and vehicle interfaces using HIL rigs, simulators/mocks, and on-vehicle integration.+ Execute functional and integration testing of hardware and embedded/firmware interfaces.+ Conduct regression testing across firmware updates and hardware revisions.+ Perform environmental qualification-style testing, including temperature, vibration, shock, and EMI/EMC coordination/testing.+ Capture and report data for pass/fail results, trends, and root-cause analysis.Essential Skills+ Experience in software testing, test engineering, and hardware testing.+ Familiarity with mil standards and systems hardware & software testing.+ Proficient in precision test, measurement devices, and sensor selection.+ Fluency in relevant technologies and application domains.+ Ability to independently lead a technical group.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in test engineering.+ Understanding of product environmental testing design and performance based on MIL-STD 810G or MIL-STD 461E or equivalent.Work EnvironmentThe position follows a 9-80 work schedule and is 100% on-site in St. Louis. The role involves 10-15% travel, primarily ad-hoc trips related to integration and field test windows, typically lasting a few days to 1-2 weeks.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bridgeton, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $93121.00
